DTS200C compact Z-axis contact tool setter supports automatic tool length measurement and tool checks on CNC machining centers. It features a Ø20 mm tungsten carbide pad, below 1 μm (2σ) repeatability at 50 mm/min, 8.5 mm axial stroke, normally open output and IP68 protection.

DTS200C is a compact, wired Z-axis CNC tool setter developed for automatic tool length measurement, offset setting and programmed tool checks. Its Ø20 mm tungsten carbide contact pad detects tool contact along the +Z direction, sending a trigger signal through a normally open (NO) output to a compatible CNC controller.

The DTS200C specifies repeatability below 1 μm (2σ) at a probing speed of 50 mm/min. A 0.7 mm pre-stroke, 8.5 mm axial stroke and 5.5 mm trigger protection distance define its published mechanical movement characteristics. The cylindrical housing and round mounting base provide an alternative installation layout to rectangular tool setter designs.

A 5 m oil-resistant, six-core cable and IP68 sealing support use in suitable machining environments. With the required CNC macros, the DTS200C can support tool offset verification and basic tool breakage checks. Qidu provides guidance on mounting, wiring, calibration and controller integration.
