DTS100 Z-Axis CNC Tool Setter for Tool Length Measurement

DTS100 Z-axis contact tool setter supports automatic tool length measurement and tool breakage checks using compatible CNC cycles. It features <1 μm (2σ) repeatability at 50 mm/min, a Ø10 mm tungsten carbide pad, normally closed output, IP68 protection and a 5 m cable.

DTS100 is a compact Z-axis contact tool setter designed for automatic tool length measurement and tool offset setting on CNC machining centers. A cutting tool approaches the tungsten carbide touch pad along the +Z triggering direction, and the unit sends a contact signal to a compatible CNC input through its wired connection.

The DTS100 provides specified repeatability below 1 μm (2σ) at a probing speed of 50 mm/min. Its Ø10 mm contact pad, normally closed (NC) electrical output and 5 m oil-resistant six-core cable support integration into suitable machine setups. IP68 sealing and a protective cable conduit are intended for industrial machining environments.

With appropriate CNC measurement macros, the tool setter can also support tool length verification and basic tool breakage checks. Qidu provides technical assistance for machine compatibility, mounting location, wiring, calibration and measurement cycle configuration. Confirm available clearances, controller signal requirements and the required installation accessories before ordering.
