DTS200S compact Z-axis contact tool setter features a bellows-style protective cover, Ø20 mm tungsten carbide pad, below 1 μm (2σ) repeatability at 50 mm/min, 8.5 mm axial stroke, normally open output, IP68 protection and a 5 m wired connection.

DTS200S is a compact, wired Z-axis contact tool setter for automated tool length measurement, offset setting and programmed tool checks on CNC machining centers. Its Ø20 mm tungsten carbide contact pad registers contact in the +Z direction and sends a trigger signal through a normally open (NO) electrical output.

A distinguishing feature is the bellows-style cover surrounding the moving contact assembly. The cylindrical housing and round mounting base offer an alternative installation arrangement to rectangular tool setters, provided the machine has suitable clearance and mounting provisions.

The DTS200S has specified repeatability below 1 μm (2σ) at a probing speed of 50 mm/min. Its published movement characteristics include a 0.7 mm pre-stroke, 8.5 mm axial stroke and 5.5 mm trigger protection distance. It also features IP68 sealing and a 5 m oil-resistant, six-core cable.

With suitable CNC inputs and measurement macros, the DTS200S supports tool length setting, offset verification and basic tool breakage checks. Qidu provides guidance on installation, calibration, wiring and controller integration.
