The probe sends trigger signals to a dedicated receiver using 2.4 GHz radio transmission, so communication does not rely on the direct optical line of sight required by infrared probe systems.<\/p>\n<p>The radio system uses smart frequency hopping across 83 frequency channels and has a specified operating range of 8 m. M-code activation allows the probe to be incorporated into programmed probing routines when suitable CNC interface connections and measurement macros are available.<\/p>\n<p>The DRP40-C provides specified repeatability below 1 \u03bcm when tested with a 50 mm stylus at 50\u2013200 mm\/min.
